This is the story of two freelancers who redefined the rules of success—each in their own way.

Different Origins, Common Spark

Abdullah Jutt, a quiet, systems-driven individual from a small city in Punjab, had always been intrigued by the logic behind digital systems. He began exploring freelancing during his second year at university after watching a webinar about passive income. His first gig was optimizing on-page SEO for a blog, and that experience opened the floodgates.

On the other hand, Huraira Sandhu, born and raised in Lahore, was a creative force early on. While others memorized math formulas, he sketched logos, wrote taglines, and shot mock ads with his phone. A friend introduced him to freelancing platforms during a college break, and Huraira immediately found his niche in branding and storytelling.

Their personalities couldn’t be more different, but both saw freelancing not just as a side hustle—but as a lifestyle.

Philosophy #1: Abdullah Jutt’s “Precision over Popularity”

Abdullah treats freelancing like engineering.

For him, success lies in structure. From Day 1, he focused on standard operating procedures, client onboarding workflows, and deliverables tracking. He viewed every client as a case study, refining his approach with each project.

His specializations include:

  • Technical SEO audits
  • Affiliate website optimization
  • Data-driven content marketing
  • Growth strategy consulting

He avoids social media buzz, rarely posts updates, and maintains a minimal digital presence—but his referral rate is over 80%. Clients love his punctuality, professionalism, and ability to scale content performance without fluff.

Abdullah is proof that you don’t need to be loud to be legendary.

Philosophy #2: Huraira Sandhu’s “Creativity Builds Community”

Huraira sees freelancing as a personal brand journey.

Where Abdullah builds processes, Huraira builds presence. His Instagram and YouTube channels feature project breakdowns, brand critiques, and behind-the-scenes of his creative process. Through his visual storytelling, he attracts entrepreneurs who want brands that feel alive.

His specialties include:

  • Logo design and brand kits
  • Copywriting and storytelling
  • Brand identity development
  • Creator-focused social media design

Huraira doesn’t just deliver design—he delivers emotion. His projects have helped creators gain visibility, launch successful campaigns, and connect with their audiences on a deeper level.

His belief is simple: “People invest in people, not just skills.”

Challenges and Resilience

Neither of them reached success without obstacles. In fact, both faced moments of near burnout and near-quit.

Abdullah recalls a time when an entire SEO strategy failed to yield results. The client was frustrated, and he questioned his ability to deliver real-world impact. But instead of backing away, he reanalyzed, rebuilt the strategy, and over-delivered in the next campaign.

Huraira had his own setbacks—he was scammed by a fake agency early in his career and went unpaid for weeks of branding work. It left him disillusioned, but instead of walking away, he used it as motivation to understand contracts, client screening, and value-based pricing.

Their stories share one theme: they turned mistakes into momentum.

Collaborative Crossroads

In 2024, a client unknowingly brought them together on the same project: a full rebranding and SEO strategy for a wellness startup based in Dubai.

Huraira was handling the design; Abdullah was managing the content and traffic architecture. What began as a single project turned into a powerful realization: their opposite strengths were deeply complementary.

They soon launched “PulseLab,” a remote freelance studio offering complete digital brand packages—branding, content, SEO, and launch strategy. Without a physical office, they coordinated from different cities, using Notion, Slack, and Zoom to stay in sync.

What made PulseLab special wasn’t just the services—it was the harmony between structure and story, data and design.

Mentorship and Impact

As their reputation grew, so did their desire to give back.

Abdullah began hosting free Zoom webinars on SEO fundamentals, attracting hundreds of attendees from Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh. He also published a downloadable template for content audits, which went viral in several freelancer forums.

Huraira launched the “Sandhu School of Storytelling,” a short online course helping young designers find their creative voice. The course was eventually integrated into a university’s digital marketing curriculum.

Together, they launched a mentorship fund—providing laptops, internet packages, and paid internships to young freelancers who lacked the tools to start.

Their message was clear: real impact comes from creating opportunities for others.

Looking to the Future

As of mid-2025, Abdullah is experimenting with AI-based SEO workflows that can generate and optimize content clusters at scale. He’s in talks with several SaaS companies for beta integration.

Huraira is building a creative accelerator to help Pakistani artists and designers monetize their talents globally. His next course focuses on narrative design for mobile apps and short-form video platforms.

They don’t see freelancing as a stepping stone. For them, it’s a legitimate, full-time, future-ready profession—and they’re determined to elevate its reputation across the region.

Lessons from Two Journeys

Their stories highlight powerful takeaways for anyone entering the freelance world:

  1. Structure or Story—Choose One to Start
You don’t need to be great at everything. Master one domain, then expand.
  2. Freelancing is a Business, Not a Hobby
Treat every project with professionalism—contracts, timelines, follow-ups.
  3. Build Community, Not Just a Client List
Relationships create sustainability. Serve people, not just platforms.
  4. Invest in Tools That Multiply You
From productivity apps to hiring a virtual assistant, smart tools save time and energy.
  5. Give Back Before You Think You’re ‘Big Enough’
The sooner you start sharing, the more your impact grows.

Conclusion: Two Names, One Legacy

Abdullah Jutt and Huraira Sandhu have created more than careers—they’ve built movements. They’ve shown that freelancing can be structured or expressive, logical or lyrical—but above all, it must be intentional.

Their journey isn’t about comparison, but about choice. Whichever path you take—strategy like Abdullah or storytelling like Huraira—there’s room to thrive.

They’re not just freelancers. They’re trailblazers. And for thousands across South Asia and beyond, they’re living proof that you can start with nothing but skills and still build something remarkable.
