According to Santa Clarita news, as of Thursday, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reported two locations in the Santa Clarita Valley where COVID-19 is spreading.

Both TA Aerospace in Valencia and the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic were reportedly the sites of the outbreaks.

Three or more confirmed cases connected by any shared activity constitute an outbreak.

According to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, as Santa Clarita breaking news today, there are 75,713 proven cases of COVID-19 in the city. According to the DPH, there have been 64 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since November 25.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health explained the methodology behind the numbers on its website. “The number of seven-day average daily cases is presented by episode date, an approximation of the date the illness began, and reflects data for the seven days ending Saturday,” they stated.

Following a three-week lag, the following table displays the average daily death toll for the seven days ending Monday, organised by date of death. As of July 23, this is different from the previous presentation of case and death data, which was based on the date of the report. Santa Clarita News COVID-19 breakouts at North County Correctional Facility and TA Aerospace demonstrate the community’s adaptability.

To lessen the likelihood of catching COVID-19, the DPH suggests staying home while sick, having a COVID-19 test, practising good hygiene, seeking medication as soon as possible, wearing a mask, and enhancing ventilation.
